New Zealand College of Chiropractic
Chiropractic is all about helping the body to function at its best, through optimal function of the spine and nerve system. Chiropractic care can enhance overall health, well-being, and performance. In fact, many world-class athletes and sports teams work with chiropractors to maintain their peak performance.
Being a chiropractor is an exciting career that enables people to make a difference to others, achieve great work-life balance and earning potential, and choose from plenty of options for specialisation - from owning a general chiropractic practice to animal and equine chiropractic, paediatrics, sports chiropractic, diagnostic imaging or even chiropractic research.
New Zealand College of Chiropractic are proud to have some of the highest requirements of any chiropractic college worldwide and their small size gives them a strong family feel. New Zealand College of Chiropractic graduates are highly sought after both in New Zealand and Australia, and around the world. New Zealand College of Chiropractic currently has graduates practicing in Canada, USA, Australia, The Netherlands, UK, Tahiti, Malaysia, Indonesia and more.
The New Zealand College of Chiropractic is the only place you can study chiropractic in New Zealand. The Bachelor of Chiropractic is a five-year programme that allows you to graduate as a Doctor of Chiropractic. The programme includes one year of prerequisite study, and hands-on classes starting from the first day at the College. The programme also includes a two-year internship and community outreach programme both in New Zealand and abroad, which ensures you are ready to step right into practice when you graduate – whether that is working for another chiropractor, starting your own business, or being a locum chiropractor! Almost all students have signed jobs before they even graduate, as the demand for chiropractic care is increasing around the country and world.
